Asset Overview
Anxiety is a hard thing to conceptualize sometimes. Often it feels so difficult to understand the complicated mix of emotions, thoughts, and feelings that come packaged with a diagnosed Generalized Anixety Disorder. The fear and stress can feel so abstract and irrational at times, and that's been a near constant struggle for me over the past few months.
However, one consistent thing that's always present throughout the many different forms of stress, anxiety, and depression, is the ever present feeling of a monster just sitting on your shoulders, weighing you down, preventing anything good from happening. You just want to put your face in your hands and stop existing. Your body shuts down, and it feels like you can hardly even move. The monster has a tight grip on you, and just wont let go.
Sometimes the monster is a smaller yet persistent green blob of an abomination that infects your body, mind, and every other aspect of your life.
To those who are similarly suffering, just know, you're not alone.
