Asset Overview
The **Cornaro Chapel** is located in the church of *Santa Maria della Vittoria* in Rome, Italy.
The chapel, and the church, are best known for the white marble sculptural group *Ecstasy of Saint Teresa*, by **Gian Lorenzo Bernini**, which is set in the aedicule.
The chapel, also designed by Bernini, is considered to be one of the masterpieces of Roman Baroque.
To either side of the chapel, members of the Cornaro family appear to observe the supernatural drama taking place before them.
