Asset Overview

This model was reconstructed from top side (90 degrees gimbal tilt) and front side (0 degrees gimbal tilt) images collected with a DJI Mavic Air 2. This vertical, coastal cliff is an iconic natural monument in the southern part of Rethymno Region (Crete). It forms the hanging wall of a major fault which has been active historically and it represents one of the largest manifestations of exposed faulting in Greece. The wall is 46 meters high and it is 143 meters wide. Apart from geological interest, the wall is a famous spot for climbers and hikers.
