Asset Overview

Recumbent 17th century graveslab or grave cover located on the surface of the nave inside the medieval nave and chancel parish church ruins (TN027-003002-) at Ballynaclogh, Co. Tipperary. The inscription on the gravelsab was recorded in 1840 as ;Here lyes the Body of Samuel Bindon, son to David Bindon, Who dyed in the year of our Lord God 1611". An alternative date of 1677 was suggested for this date.
