Asset Overview

All Saints Church is one of three historic churches located in the market town of Sudbury, Suffolk. These churches are also referred to as the “wool churches” as they were built during a time when wool was a booming industry. On the site of All Saints, there was a Norman church built sometime during the mid-12th century. It was rebuilt during the 14th and 15th centuries and features of these periods still exist in the form of the chancel and the Perpendicular tower. Much of the interior design was heavily renovated throughout the Victorian period. Interestingly, Thomas Gainsborough’s family is buried within the Church grounds. Note: The images were collected with a Mavic 2 Pro and processed in Agisoft Metashape
