Sculpture of an Apollo head from the site of Tarraco (Tarragona, Spain), dated in the 25-50 AD. Large marble head of Apollo, the god of sun and light, protector of music, poetry and the arts in general. It is probably a copy made in a local workshop based on 4th-century-BC Greek models. From the area of the Tarraco Colonia Forum.
