Ashlar with a carved phallus from the site of Tarraco (Tarragona, Spain). From the area of the public baths in Sant Miquel Street. Dated between the 1st and 3rd centuries A.D. The presence of a phallus on parts of buildings is related to its use as a symbol of portection and prosperity from the town.
