In Assignment 3, 5 points of decay have been identified. There are different kinds of decay. They are formed by human activity and environmental changes. Pavement cracks, trees needing trimming, rubbish stuck in wire fences, cracks in tree pits and cracks in drainage ways have been included.
According to City of Melbourne Design Standards, all the functions of these facilities and infrastructure have been known. Design intervention which helps to disrupt or impede the rate of decay have been proposed based on the design standards within the outside Central Melbourne context. These are showed in detailed annotations in the model.
