[Process version](https://skfb.ly/SqsQ) Multi-objective search and optimisation for a window opening that balances a great view against, minimised summer sun and maximised winter sun. The window opening is cut from a previously evolved building form. The cut is defined parametrically, by varying the parameters we can examine many thousands of possible windows. A panoramic photo defines the view - this is converted into a abstract version mae of simple cells or pixels with just four types land, sea, sky and features. The view gets a score based on the total cells visible but also the quality of the view is rated. An ideal view proportion of land: sea: sky is previously defined and the current view compared to this, the presence of a feature gives bonus points. Winter and summer sun are scored according to the area of direct sun landing on the floor plate throughout predefined winter and summer periods.
