As people, we fail to think about the process in which we receive data at the speed of light. Technological Discomfort focuses on the cycle of which information is sent and received from one smart tool to the next. This linear cycle begins at a Optic Fiber Cable where information is passed as waves to a Macro Cell Tower, to a Local Cell, to your Antenna and lastly screen images on your Phone. The cycle continues to be processed through our eyes, ocular nerves and finally translated as legible nonsense in our brain. Such a long journey for just a simple text message or 7 second video but why is no one disturbed by this?
