Miraflores Castle is a fortress of Islamic origin (IX-X centuries) located in the town of Piedrabuena (Spain). In the twelfth century it was conquered by Christian troops, but in 1196 it fell back into Muslim hands. Finally after the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa (1212) it was occupied by the Order of Calatrava. It is currently owned by the City Council of Piedrabuena and can be visited all year for free.
