Asset Overview
This is my retake exam for the Game Art course at DAE Howest Kortrijk.
Ancient Egypt was widely known for eternalizing knowledge and setting the stepping stones (no pun) towards the dawn of literature as well as the widespread preservation and passing on of information and religion.
Having a writing (drawing?) tool is only half the work in this case, and to actually write something down, you'd need something to write on.
This is where egypt made some massive advancement: Papyrus.
When you don't have a high quality sandstone wall inside a regal tomb carved and made by a dozen slaves over the course of a hundred years, papyrus is the next best thing.
It also, unlike said crypt, isn't attached to a million ton pyramid.
Win-Win!
