Asset Overview
By using a series of screenshots from Google Maps I was able to reconstruct a 3D model of the downtown area of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho ( CDA ).
Although rough it does proce the workflow is possible. As we all know it is not possible to extract 3D data from Google Maps directly so this can be a good way of obtaining an approximate model of an area.
Software used: Google Maps -> Aigsoft Metashape -> Blender
