Asset Overview
A dwarven weapon made by the Dwarves of Erebor in the Third age of Middle-earth. The windlance its self is like a gian double crossbow mounted on a rotating platform. Lord Girion of Dale mounted black arrows on to the Windlance during the first battle with Smaug and fired them at Smaug. One of the arrows struck its mark but loosen a scale. In the end, Girion was killed with the final black arrow before he could kill Smaug. When the dwarves awakened the Dragon again from his sleep, smaug attacked the lake town of Esgaroth and destroyed the windlance. Bard, a decenent of Girion killed Smaug with the last black arrow.
