Tenerife lighthouse, in Santa Cruz harbour. Built in 1862 by french engineer Henry Lepaute (it's a 6th order lighthouse). Turned on in 1863, it worked during 91 years until it was definitely turned off in 1954. It is supposed that Veremundo Perera wrote the famous copla "Esta noche no alumbra (la farola del mar)" (tonight the lighthouse of the sea doesn't illuminate), which can be heard here.
