Asset Overview

The Florentine-Fountain once stood in Carl von Weinberg's villa 'Waldfried'. After the National Socialists seized power in 1933, the entire property of the jewish entrepreneur was expropriated. Among other things, the fountain was moved to the Bockenheimer Anlage, which is part of Frankfurt am Main's former city ramparts. Nowadays it can be found on the eastern side of the Nebbienic Summerhouse.
The fountain is made of marble and was probably built by an Italian architect.
