Global Game Jam 2020 - Counsellors Office

This scene was meant to only be viewed from behind the desk - There are many faces culled out that aren't visible to from this angle! Created during this years Global Game Jam - our game 'Robolationships' put the player in the shoes of a marriage counsellor for robots. In our game, it's the player's job to interview them and deduce what each couple's problem is. Each couple's issues can be solved by giving them an upgrade - for instance if a robot has anger issues, the player can give them a water cooler to chill them out. This scene was created in less than 2 days using Maya and Substance painter. Not only did doing this teach me a lot about each piece of software, but also helped me to optimise my workflow to get things done in as quick a time as possible. Things in the scene might not look as good as they can, though! The gamejam was an awesome experience, and everyone on our team was fantastic, already can't wait to take part again next time :)
