Asset Overview
Grophus utgravd i 2014 på Viklem i Ørland kommune. Huset hadde omtrent rektangulært grunnplan sidene målte 6,5 meter, og var nedgravd omlag 50 cm i undergrunnen. I det søndre hjørnet lå et hjørneildsted med et ovnskammer. Bygningen er datert 970 - 1165 e.Kr og var en del av et gårdstun fra vikingtid.
Pithous excavated in 2014 at Viklem in Ørland Municipally. The house was almoust square in plan, measuring 6,5 m a side, and was dug 50 cm into the underground. In the southern corner there was a corner fireplace with a furnace chamber. The building is dated AD 970 - 1165 and formed a part of viking period farm.
