Asset Overview

It is a construction from the second half of the 15th century, of which only the main chapel remains, preceded by a pointed main arch and covered by a ribbed vault with five keys - two with stars, one with a cross, another with a shield and the central with a fleur de lis - crossing nerves, terceletes and ligatures, resting on corbels. In the 19th century it was painted in indigo blue. A mullioned window with a pointed arch of lobed tracery allowed the entry of natural light for the Eucharistic celebration in the presbytery. In the middle of the 18th century a wooden altarpiece was made, in a baroque and polychrome style, proceeding to the whitewashing of the walls. Over the centuries, the altarpiece deteriorated until it disappeared and, together with the lack of maintenance of the building, gave rise to the fall of the whitewashed and repaints, reappearing the original Gothic images.
