Idyllic Cage

The concept is loosely based around protecting and preserving the natural beauty of endangered coral reefs, and the aquatic life that inhabit them. In an ocean with ever spreading pollution, the Idyllic Cage is a safe-haven that separates reality from fantasy, preserving the inhabitants of these sacred waters from harm for eternity. I focused on an elegant design that lets the shaping do most of the work opposed to layering detail. The terrain emphasizes strong, vivid, full colors, bringing the surroundings to life.
