Ishavskatedralen - The Arctic Cathedral

Tromsø's shining light! They call Tromsø "Paris of the North", The Arctic Cathedral is one of the architectural pinnacles of Northern Norway. The church was build in 1965, drawn by Jan Inge Hovig. The glass wall came later, in 1972. I took some freedom when it comes to the art of the glass wall (I don't know if it's copyrighted). I replaced the original with a symbol of Northern-Norway, the cod. Historically and cultural, the cod has been a great resource for the northern communities. This is my tribute to our history. The model was made with Cinema4D, cleanup and UV's in Maya and textured in Substance Painter (Glass wall made in Substance Designer.
