Entrance gateway dated 1815, into the graveyard (OF010-035003-) at Killaderry (Cill Rátha Dairthí), County Offaly which contains the wall footings of a medieval church site (OF010-035002-). Above the round-headed entrance there are thirteen corbels decorated with carved faces with letter beneath each face. Above these corbels there is a carved stone plaque depicting symbols of death and resurrection with Latin inscriprion the Latin text ‘Domus mea est Domus oblivionis’ meaning ‘my house is the house of oblivion’. Beneath the skull and cross-bones there is a Latin inscription which reads 'Saltim vos amici mei reminisce mini mei - Saltim vos amici mei miseremini mei - Mortuis ex vivis anno 1815'. On the reverse side the plaque contains a trumpeting angel with a coffin beneath with Latin inscription roughly translated as 'What you are, I was: I am what you will be'.
