Asset Overview
Laconicum 5 is a trench in the northeastern area of the bath complex. This is an extension of Laconicum 4 (2017), which exposed a hot room of the bath. In the area of Laconicum 5, the remains of a service corridor came to light, with potential evidence of burning that is consistent with a furnace that would have provided heat to the area of Laconicum 4.
