Leiston Abbey Barn

### Leiston Abbey Barn Development Project Will result in a multi-functional 21st century performance space in an existing Grade II listed heritage barn. Phase 1: repair and renovation to the barn. This phase included re-thatching, timber and masonry repairs and improvements to the structure. This phase is now complete and the building is back in use again. Phase 2: refurbishment the interior of the barn to transform it into a state of the art performance and workshop space, as well as an arts education venue for the immediate local community to Leiston Abbey. Refurbishment will include sprung floor, enhanced disabled access, a new lighting system, new heating, toilet facilities, acoustic adaptations, new flexible staging together with new rehearsal and concert pianos. Phase 2b plans include a small extension linking the barn to the existing Guesten Hall, retaining the existing heritage walls, to create a visitor café, exhibition space and interval bar at ground level.
