Asset Overview
This small pillar is located in south part of Saint-Petersburg, Russia, near the bridge with the same name.
There are different versions of it's origin: some say it was erected by famous artist Auguste Montferrand as a testing ground for the huge Alexandrovky pillar in the center of the city, other argue this is a remain of creative advertisement board for the factory that was located nearby at tsarists times.
But in the end the sad truth remains the same: that undoubted piece of history remains deserted without any attention or restoration. Corrupt KGIOP prefer to search for responsible persons instead of caring on their responsibilities. At the same time pillar foundation remains being cracked and displaced.
