Asset Overview

Here we have a view of the North door of St. John's kirk, here in the city centre of Perth, Scotland. St. John's was originally consecrated in the 12th century and re-built in the 15th century. St. John's goes back a long way, as you can see. People have been worshipping here for a thousand years. There are a lot of good views to be had, from gargoyles, grotesques, and ornately carved stonework, to stained glass windows and a square Norman church tower. My favourites are the four doors with their wonderful ornate stone carved archivolts. This model is of one such, the North door. This model is comprised of 69 images shot at 28 mm and f/5.6. I opted to shoot at ISO 400 because the day was overcast at this point. This brought my shutter speeds back up to something reasonable. This model was processed with Zephyr Lite 5.003 and decimated within Zephyr to bring the file size down to fit inside my free account's 50 MB file size.
