**Panteón de Salvador García Botí (Escaló)**
This pantheon belongs to the family of Salvador García Botí alias Escaló, who was the founder of the textile company called fábrica de paños de Salvador García. The work was an order of his family to the architect Vicente Pascual, who was also the author of the family palace known as **["Casa d'Escaló"](https://skfb.ly/6SGq7)**.
The title of the sculpture is "Amor más allá de la muerte" (Love beyond death) but it is known as "La Plorona" (the weeping woman) and it represents the melancholy. Legend says that his mistress who was pregnant and died of sorrow when she was informed of the bad news. However, this story has been denied by the family.
