Over the past 16 years, Brothers David and Shane have grown the business into the second-biggest specialty pet retailer in Australia, after Greencross Limited’s Petbarn. Radio Rentals was formed by Percy Perring-Thoms in 1930 in Brighton, Sussex, UK to rent out radio sets as well as offering televisions and video recorders for rent in later years. In 1939, the business expanded into Australia with the first shopfront opening on Market Street, Sydney in 1937. The company now operates over 90 Radio Rentals stores within Australia, and 28 stores in New Zealand.
