Asset Overview

Grainmill from the 16th century. Developments in windmills in the later medieval brought us to a well working machine, that was not only efficient in milling grain in the windswept low countries, but was also fast to construct and even disassemble. Windmills in this period had most often still no windboards (angled pieces of trim for extra wind power) but were soley powered with sails. The model is textured with 4 2K PBR texturesets and animated with a basic animation. The animation applies also to the internal componenets and are speed corrected for the different gears. (To the millstone 16:3, to the lifting spindle 16:5) *The brick foundation is supposed to sink into the ground a bit.* ![https://i.imgur.com/DjGQfNO.png](https://i.imgur.com/DjGQfNO.png) For more information on these type of windmills from various countries you can take a look at the wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post_mill
