Roman altar / altar romano

Este altar romano, procedente de la ciudad de Ostia, fue dedicado en el año 124 d.C, durante el reinado de Adriano, para ensalzar los orígenes míticos de Roma y su fundación por parte de Rómulo, descendiente del dios Marte y de la diosa Venus. Este escaneo rápido fue realizado en el Museo Nazionale Romano - Palazzo Massimo alle Terme y es mi modo de conmemorar la fundación mítica de Roma el 21 de abril del año 753 a.C, hace ya 2769 años. _21 de abril de 2016_ ___ This Roman altar from the city of Ostia, was dedicated in the year 124 A.D, during the reign of Hadrian, to exalt the mythic origins of Rome and its foundation by Romulus, a descendant of the god Mars and the goddess Venus. This quick scan was performed at the National Museum of Rome - Palazzo Massimo alle Terme and is my way of commemorating the legendary founding of Rome on April 21 753 A.C, 2,769 years ago. _April 21 2016_
