Asset Overview

On the ancient Appian way to Terracina (Italy) and, on the left of the ancient road, lies a Roman funerary epigraph. The same is unattended and has been the subject of at least three attempts of proven theft (so I have reported the residents in the area). Datable between 50 BC / 50 d.C. the Latin text reads: [- A] tinius ((mulieris)) l (ibertus) Priamus; [- A] tinius C (ai) f (ilius) Rufus f (ilius); [- A] tinius C (ai) f (ilius) Proculus f (ilius) [sibi et libe] ris libert (is) que eorum.
