The **Sainte-Chapelle** is a chapel in the *Palais de la Cite*, in Paris, France.
The chapel is considered one of the great successes of **Gothic Architecture**. The chapel was orignally built to house Louis IX's collection of relics.
Of course, the most striking feature of Sainte-Chapelle are the stained glass windows, which line three sides of the chapel and form a large *rosette*, or rose window, on the fourth.
