Santimbru Reformed Church (with interior)

A medium quality model (now heavily decimated to 1000k) of the 15th Century church of Santimbru, Alba county, Romania. The current Gothic style church replaced an earlier (13th Century) Romanesque style church, destroyed in a battle with the Otoman Turks, in 1442. Rebuilt after the battle by John Hunyadi (Ioan de Hunedoara) as a Late Gothic style church it now served the Magyar community of the village. The tower is a later addition. The interior preserves few traces of 15th to 16th Century paintings, see a model here: https://skfb.ly/66zxC (copyright Universitatea 1 Decembrie 1918 din Alba Iulia 2017). The model was created from a total of 431 photos obtained using 28 mm and 50mm lens. The interior of the church, processed separately, was aligned using markers. The model has gaps due to problematic photography around close trees, and the inside floor was discarded. Work in progress...
