House 8 is a Late Neolithic (c.3000-2500 cal BC) or Bronze Age building at Skara Brae, Sandwick, Orkney. The walls of this building survive c.1.5 m high as the building was buried by a sand-dune. Prof. V. Gordon Childe excavated this building in the late 1928 and interpreted the building as a workshop on account of a quantity of black chert blocks and flaked tools spread across the floor.
