Station building

Notional station building to fit the octagonal footprint shown on contemporary maps of Wavertree Lane. Loosely based on the sketch of Collin's Green station by Isaac Shaw although that structure was longer and possibly hexagonal, i.e. blunt-ended on the side away from the tracks. Presence of drop-ended hood mouldings and shutters on the windows is consistent with Collin's Green. However, other similar buildings such as those at the Intersection Bridge and St Helen's Junction appear to have been cuboid.
