A 3D scan of a manhole cover from a storm drain.
Meshroom was used to process the photos and compute the mesh and textures.
Blender was used to edit the geometry and decimate the mesh to meet the upload requirements of sketchfab.
This set of photos came out well, but I think I can do better with the next scan. I want to remesh the output from Meshroom, then bake the textures onto that mesh. Hopefully I can use instant meshes to do this!
