Asset Overview

The Torre del Oro in Seville is an albarrana tower located on the left bank of the Guadalquivir river, in the city of Seville, autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. This tower is a "[Ingeniería 3D Digital](https://ingenieria3ddigital.es/)" design. It is designed in two parts that are assembled, inside there is a hole that allows introducing a cotton with orange blossom perfume, very typical in Seville. Its height is 36 meters. The Torre del Oro has three perfectly distinguishable bodies and each one was built in a different period. The first body was built between 1220 and 1221 by order of the Almohad Seville governor Abù I-Ulà. The second body was the work of Pedro I el Cruel in the 14th century. Finally, in 1760, the military engineer Sebastián Van der Borcht finished the tower with another body finished in a dome.
