The National is a landmark high-rise building in the Chicago Loop and originally named the Commercial National Bank Building.
Designed by D.H Burnham & Company in 1907, the 20 storey steel and concrete structure exemplifies the Classical Revival from one of the most significant architectural firms in Chicago. A complete renovation in 2017 delivered modern amenities to compliment this historic setting. The National sits in the very heart of Chicago’s Loop – a thriving urban hub where business, commerce, and mass transit intertwine with legendary Chicago landmarks.
