The Tower of Babel 2.0

The structure can be a new type of 3D self-sustainable city. Due to the modular and self-sustained unit design, it could be a better place to be in during next pandemies. Moduls are designed to be an independent and self-sustained unit. Air, water and electrical systems of moduls could be connected/disconnected to/from other moduls. Moduls are the truncated tetrahedron forms, consisting of one big (d=8 m) and four small spheres (d=4 m). The big sphere can be considered a habitable space, whereas smaller spheres are to grow food, to recycle waste etc. The structure would be strong because the moduls are conceived to be strong. Tetragon is to avoid backling and sphere is to sustain high pressure. Moduls are interconnected like carbon atoms in the structure of diamond. The structure has inherent tunnels. The shaft diameter can be increased by merging several adjacent tunnels. In the weightlessness conditions the modul design is ideal to move around. stairs are needed within the modul.
