Asset Overview
This is a 3D model of the chapels of the castle of La Roche-Guyon, France. The chapels are constructed in the chalky cliff ovelooking the Seine River. The walls are covered with stones and plaster to give the chapels a normal, non-troglodytic look.
Construction of the chapels ranged from the XIIth century through the XIXth. The chapels are organized from west to east beginning with the the crypt, the chapel Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, the King’s chapel, the Calvary’s chapel and the sacristy.
The chapels were scanned with a FARO Focus S70 laser scanner. In total 54 scans were taken and used to create this model. These data were processed in Reality Capture.
