University Commons書卷廣場-空拍打造3D地標Build 3D Landmark

【書卷廣場】University Commons 位於驚聲大樓及覺生紀念圖書館前的書卷廣場，是許多社團聚會及大型活動舉辦的地方，也是每位淡江人拍照、懷念的景點。廣場中央有座四片繞圈之「竹卷」，象徵古代的簡冊，於1986年竣工，由建築師林貴榮校友設計，從上俯視，它又像馬達中的轉軸，生生不息，四片竹卷也代表本校校訓「樸實剛毅」的精神。書卷以瀟灑的姿態佇立，不論是藍天、黃昏或夜晚，都呈現出不同的迷人景致。－《認識淡江》 The ’University Commons’ is located in front of Ching-sheng Memorial Hall and Chueh-sheng Memorial Library, where is the center for students to take place all the events and activities, including school celebration and school clubs’ events, also is every student will take photo when they’re going to graduate from school. Sometimes, there are some newly married couples choose here to take their wedding photos here. The four white slices of sculptures stand for the ‘Bamboo Booklet’ in the ancient time. And students call it as ‘Egg Roll’, which is very interesting name since the shape just like egg roll. The University Commons completed in 1986 by designer Lin Gui-Rong who is the alumnus of Architecture Dept. of Tamkang University. - < TKU Campus Views >
