Asset Overview

Coffin-shaped memorial stone displaying the coat of arms of William Cleburne of Ballycolliton Castle (TN009-042—), Co. Tipperary, who died 22nd October, 1684. A winged-soul effigy carved in high relief is visible at the top of the stone, below which is the coat of arms with Latin inscription beneath family shield. Memorial stone lying flat on top of the Cleburne family mausoleum which stands today inside the north-east corner of the medieval parish church ruins (TN009-003001-) of Kilbarron, Co. Tipperary.
