I marked 5 points of decay along the Moonee Ponds Creek in model, including design fell into disrepair in landscape system, especially construction (tree pits, paving and etc.). And furthermore, I proposed several pertinent interventions to ameliorate this process.
These decay problems are common in context of existing environment, which includes:
1. Rusty metal fence post – could impede through replacing normal steel with stainless steel and etc.
2. Cracked post and rail fence – could prevent by adding metal trellis and etc.
3. Broken and rotten timber edge – intervention: stabilizing with concrete blocks and etc.
4. Rotted and oblique tree pit – intervention: setting additional triangle frame and etc.
5. Cracked and uneven asphalt paving – intervention: performing a partial or full-depth patch and etc.
