18th Century Headstone, Kilbarron Graveyard

18th century headstone standing north of the eastern end of the medieval parish church ruins in Kilbarron Graveyard (TN009-003002-), North Tipperary. The framed inscription on the headstone reads 'Erected by Morgan Sweeny for his Father Thos Sweeny who died April 1757 aged 65 yrs. The top of the stone is decorated with a soul effigy carved in false relief. The borders of the headstone are decorated with a running lozenge pattern.
