Asset Overview

18th century headstone dedicated to the Nowlan family standing south of the Dominican Friary (TN004-010001-) in Lorrha Graveyard, North Tipperary. The top of the stone is decorated with a soul effigy carved in false relief. The border around the headstone is decorated with a running lozenge pattern. The headstone is similar to the Sweeny memorial located in nearby Kilbarron Graveyard (TN009-003002-), North Tipperary.
