Asset Overview

Penzance's listed historic slipway and wharf. Officially called, as part of a group, "[Abbey Basin Quays and Slipway, Penzance, Cornwall](https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1393737)", the slipway seen here was [painted in oils by the Newlyn School artist Stanhope Forbes](http://www.nhmf.org.uk/projects/abbey-slip-stanhope-forbes) in 1921. Unbelievably cars now use the slipway, scaring pedestrians (it's popular with tourists), risking overtopping seas at high tide, and damaging the structure, despite a sign saying "Unsuitable for Motors" at the top. It has become a rat-run, despite other routes existing. I'm hoping that this will change in the future. There are a few issues with this model, done avoiding cars and pedestrians. A few higher angle photos would make the textures and level roadway geometry much better.
