**Agfa Movex 88 8 mm movie camera** The Movex 8 for 145 RM was released in 1937 as the first 8 mm device from Agfa . It weighed 750 g and only worked at the standard speed of 16 frames / s, driven by a spring mechanism, as was customary at the time. The designation 88 on the Movex 88 from 1956 should indicate a double-8 camera, i.e. a 16 mm film was exposed first on one side and then, after swapping the coils, on the other.
