Andesite.
Piece of vesicular andesite from the Lawley, Shropshire. This specimen has been cut to produce microscope thin sections.
Age: approx 570 million years.
Length 5.6cm Width 4.4cm Depth 4.3cm.
Imaged using a canon 5DS R and Stackshot 3x with turntable to provide 70 images which were then processed using agisoft photoscan at high levels.
