Asset Overview

Annie Jones (b. ?, d. 1891) was married to Edmund Jones and they had one son, George, who was born in 1868. George was murdered in New York City in the fall of 1891. Poor Edmund must have had a lot of heartbreak that year. It would seem based on this article from 1941 (http://www.newspapers.com/clip/1663527/santa_cruz_sentinel/) that Edmund Jones and his family were instrumental in founding the Calvary Episcopal Church in 1862/3. The church's website mentions only the Boston family (http://www.calvarysantacruz.org/the-church/20-a-brief-history-of-calvary-episcopal-church). While I have found no information on Annie Jones, Edmund Jones, along with Joseph Boston, owned a tannery in Santa Cruz from 1863 to 1875.
