This fragment was identified during the survey as having come from a section of rebuilt wall above the original east window. The restoration of this section of church occured around 1865 and it is likely this is the capital or base of a column which was used in the L. medieval doorway or a side window to the chancel in the 14th C. the fragment may be 12th or 13th C in date.
